Do I have to be an employee, officer, or owner of a cannabis entity to join?
No. Vendors, dispensaries, growers, manufacturers, labs, lawyers, medical professionals, and safety entities with a focus or expertise in cannabis are all eligible to join HCA. Both entities and individuals may become members, subject to meeting membership eligibility requirements.
Is there a membership referral program?
There is no financial incentive for new members you refer. All new members will be vetted prior to entry. Referring well-run operations that advocate for quality assurance and safety only make the Association perform better as a whole.
How do I update my contact information?
What is the annual Fee?
The annual fee is $299.
Are membership dues tax deductible?
Membership dues are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal tax purposes. However, dues maybe be tax deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses. Consult your tax professional for guidance.
